Read these guidelines carefully before starting your application.
Creative Development Grants are made to Fractured Atlas members who need funding for specific expenses relating to artistic exploration or training but not connected to any particular project.
Fractured Atlas believes in the importance of continued training, development, and exploration throughout an artist's career, and these grants are designed to support that by targeting the artistic process, not product.
Examples of the types of expenses that might be funded include: workshops, classes, cultural exchange efforts, or laboratory explorations. Priority will be given to small arts organizations who demonstrate a commitment to fostering an environment of artistic risk-taking and ongoing exploration.
Grants in this category range in size between $250 and $1000.
